Equal Pay Day sparked a series of Taykey trending topics back in April as women commemorated the notable day with a slew of social posts highlighting the disparity in gender compensation. Robin Wright who plays the fictional First Lady in the popular Netflix series, House of Cards, revealed how she fought to be paid the same as her co-star, Kevin Spacey, during an event hosted by the Rockefeller Foundation. The trend was driven by older women, ages 55 and up, who viewed the actress with a positive sentiment.

The trend skewed slightly more male and older, ages 55+, and there was a very negative sentiment around the topic of “terrorist attack” as the inconclusive nature of the incident led people to suspect it could be an act of terrorism that brought the plane down.
